Volunteering and being involved with a community are two things that I find crucial when it comes to life. I’m always happy to lend a hand when needed, and I work hard to help ensure that the goals of various organizations are met. You can learn more about the organizations I am currently involved with and those I have worked with in the past by clicking on the links below.

Current Non-Profit Work

J.B. Dondolo, Inc. – I serve as the fundraising coordinator for J.B. Dondolo. This organization works to complete projects that were envisioned but either not started or started and not finished. Our first major project is renovating Igusi Hospital. The first phase of the renovation project is underway; we are working hard on getting clean water to the hospital.

Past Non-Profit and Volunteer Work

Stonewall Alliance, Chico, CA – When I worked with Stonewall Alliance in Chico, CA, I helped them with their website content, edited the newsletter, and served on the communications committee.

Habitat for Humanity, Chico, CA – In serving for Habitat for Humanity in Chico, CA, I worked with the Women’s Build to help construct a home. I worked on roofing, installing gutters, framing, sheetrocking, and threading wiring through the home. I also served on the grant writing committee, a Brush of Love committee, and the 5K committee.

Chico Natural Foods Co-op – I helped to edit the co-op’s monthly e-newsletter.

Trinity United Methodist Church – Church & Society and VBS Committees – I worked as a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Chico, CA to discuss various opportunities for serving the community, including adopting a homeless family and mentoring a homeless woman. I also served to help with leading children in Vacation Bible School in 2011.
