Equanimity and J.B. Dondolo’s Upcoming Gala Tickets On Sale Now!

Posted on September 29, 2016 by Ronda Bowen

917a60c0-6be8-11e6-922a-bc764e20f203It’s almost time for the 2nd annual Equanimity Awards Benefit Gala. This event, being held in Addison, Texas on October 14, 2016 will be the place to be if you’re in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Hosts Donnie Brown and Amy Vanderoef will be taking the stage to help raise money to build a new water system. From the event’s website:

“The Equanimity Awards Benefit Gala benefits the JB Dondolo, Inc. charity. The purpose of this event is to raise funds (in-kind and monetary donations) for a clean water system that will serve a community of 20,000 people. This is phase one of the entire “Hospital Hope” project. There are other phases that require immediate attention such as maintenance and refurbishment.

The Equanimity Awards Benefit Gala also honors individuals through awards in various categories including media partner, entrepreneur, community achievement, humanitarian, champion, breakthrough, leadership and more.

The Equanimity Awards Benefit Gala is where people from various backgrounds can connect with like-minded individuals for a common and good cause – to support each other and support our community.”

There will be both live and silent auction items. I’ve seen some of the jewelry that will be available, and it is STUNNING. Last year, I received the honor of the Most-Liked Writer Award. While I wasn’t able to attend to receive the honor in person, the event was a success.

If you would like more information about the event, or if you are ready to purchase tickets to the event, you can do so here. Disclosure: I am the Fundraising Coordinator for the JB Dondolo charity, and I have been working with Lumbie Mlambo and Equanimity Magazine since its inception.
