It’s been a busy time for me. I’ve made some good progress on various projects, but I’ve decided to push back the Facebook launch party for Smashed Metatoes™ until September 3rd. You can sign up here to get updates about the launch and join the fun.
I’ve also been doing some rebranding work for my social media sites associated with my current projects. It had been a long while since I’d updated the banners and profile pictures on my blog and main writing and editing business Facebook pages. I used Canva, and I’m pleased with the results. I think that they look great. I’m now working on updating the Twitter profiles.
I’ve been busy redesigning and rewriting the content on my writing and editing website so that it better reflects the services I offer my target market. It’s still a work in progress, but the more I work on it, the more I like the results.
I also am in contact with a publicist about an exciting interview for Equanimity Magazine‘s fall issue. I’m looking forward to getting a date and time nailed down for that. I have a lead writing for a literary magazine, and I’ve made contact with one of my former editing clients. I’m looking forward to working with her again.
I’ve received my fabric order from Mabel Madison, and I’m looking forward to making items to share on the blog there. I’ve almost finished the blog plan, and I’m looking forward to what we have in store for the next couple of months.

- I’m finishing up editing work on the book I co-authored, and I’m hoping to upload it to LuLu very soon. Keep tuning in for news about the book.
- I’m nailing down the interview date and time with my publicist contact.
- Recent Wining Wife® posts include: 2013 Dominos de Castilla Tinta de Toro and a review of the book, Shrill, by Lindy West. I have two more wines to review as well as a few crafting products and a baby product.
- Listing the rest of the earrings I have ready to ship in my store at Ronda B. Handmade.
- Recent Activism My Way posts include Enough Is Enough and a post covering economic justice and the cost of diapers.
- I’m looking forward to finishing the planning work for two new blog launches for later this summer. Stay tuned for those.
- I want to finish the rebranding of the website at Writing Research Editing.
- I’m finishing the blog plan for Mabel Madison and sewing up some fun clothing items to share on the blog.
